The Buddee Story

The Buddee Story

Our Founders: Seong-Lee and Rodney

Inspired by a Dad’s Mission

The inspiration for Buddee was born when one of our Co-Founders discovered that both of his children suffered from severe food allergies - a reality that became especially difficult as they approached school age. That personal experience sparked a mission to create a safe, tasty solution for families everywhere.

How Buddee Came to Life

Australia is the food allergy capital of the world, which is why we're no strangers to parents juggling the need for meals that are easy, healthy, delicious and safe. This challenge becomes even bigger with the majority of Australian schools enforcing strict no-nut policies, making lunchbox planning harder than ever.

Crafted in Melbourne

Made for Every Home

Buddee is proudly made in our own purpose-built allergen-friendly facility in Melbourne, using at least 95% Australian ingredients and packaged in recyclable PET jars.

Buddee was created not just for children with allergies, but for all families, children and adults alike. To be enjoyed in offices, schools, at parties, camps, anywhere!

We can’t wait for you to welcome Buddee into your home and join us in changing the landscape of school lunches for the better.
